Avaya PARTNER ACS T-1 Module used to provide fractional T1 service (non-PRI) for PARTNER ACS Release 6, 7 & 8. Supports up to 16 channels.

The T-1 Module will provide the Partner ACS R6 with the ability to use a fractional T-1 up to 16 voice lines via a T-1 facility. The T-1 will support E&M signaling with or without DID service. The T1 mod will support the emulation of E&M signaling with automatic and wink start signaling types.

The Partner ACS R6 T1 mod will not support emulated loop start, ground start lines or emulated DID lines. The T-1 mod will NOT support PRI. Only one T1 mod will work per Partner ACS R6 system. The T-1 mod must be installed in the first slot of the 5-slot carrier or the second slot of a 2-slot carrier. The T-1 must be provisioned on channels 9 or higher.

The T-1 mod includes a CSU to provision the voice lines. The T-1 mod can only be administered via Partner PC Administration and Diagnostics software. Cell Phone Connection is an enhancement to the existing call forwarding feature in the Partner ACS using the T-1 mod. It is Remote Call Forwarding, with simultaneous alert and answer supervision. This allows calls to a specific station (extension) to be forwarded to a personal speed dial number and call outside the Partner system. Calls will ring at the Partner telephone and the destination telephone (for example a call phone). Calls can be answered at either telephone. And the destination telephone connection can be dropped. Calls not answered at either telephone will follow programmed Partner coverage (for example voice mail coverage) however if the cell phone voice mail answers before the Partner Voice mail the message is left in the Cell Phone Mailbox. This feature is turned on and off at the Partner telephone. mail.

 

Provides up to 16 lines via T1

Channels 9 through 24 are used for voice and can be assigned to line or pool buttons

The eight unused (channels 1 through 8) and any channels not used for voice can be used for data via external CSU/DSU

Provides Direct Inward Dialing (DID) capabilities allowing calls to be routed automatically to particular extensions, hunt groups, and calling groups

Includes internal CSU for voice call connectivity and diagnostics to the T1 service provider

T1 programming is performed through Partner ACS PC Administration software
